Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has appointed Justice Kazeem Alogba as performing Chief Choose of the
state with impact from Tuesday, June 11, 2019.
The knowledge is in a press release issued by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Gboyega Akosile in Lagos on Monday.
He acknowledged that Alogba could be in performing capability, pending the advice of the Nationwide Judicial Council and subsequent affirmation by the state Home of Meeting.
Based on him, the appointment adopted the necessity to forestall a vacuum within the state judiciary, given the upcoming retirement of the current Chief Choose, Justice Opeyemi Oke.
He stated Alogba could be sworn in on Thursday on the Lagos Home, Alausa.
Previous to his appointment, Justice Alogba was essentially the most senior of the 58 honourable justices within the state judiciary subsequent to the outgoing chief decide.
